Chiyeong Kim received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.A. in International Development from the Graduate School of International Studies at Seoul National University. His master’s thesis explored the impact of corporate sustainability practices on cross-country economic growth and was recognized with the Outstanding Thesis Award. Broader research contributions include the peer-reviewed article “Income and Dissatisfaction: A Paradox in Democratic Perceptions Among High-Income and Chinese Malaysians” (Southeast Asia Journal, 2023, Vol. 33, No. 3). His research interests include international relations, comparative politics, development economics, and sustainable development. He is currently focusing on the prospects for strategic cooperation between the United States and China at Taejae Future Consensus Institute.
