Vara Ha

Researcher, The Global Order and Cooperation

Vara Ha majored in Global Environmental Studies (B.A.)  and Environmental Science and Policy (M.S.) at Clark University in the United States. Over the past seven years, Vara has built practical and research experience in energy and climate policy at consulting firms and civil society think tanks, focusing on climate action and energy transition.

 

Collaborating with government, businesses, and research institutes, Vara has led various policy consulting and research projects, including national wind industry development strategies, emissions trading project development and activation, regional energy planning, and assessments of climate-vulnerable populations.

 

Currently, as a member of the U.S. team for U.S.-China cooperation at the Taejae Future Consensus Institute, Vara seeks to promote cooperation between the U.S. and China by leveraging experience in stakeholder collaboration and strategic thinking.
