Minjeong Kim Ph.D

Senior Research Fellow, Future Industry & Competitiveness

Dr. Minjeong Kim has been researching the development of future industries for the Korean Peninsula at Taejae Future Consensus Institute. She earned her Ph.D. from Yonsei University with dissertation titled “Policy Instruments, Organization Networks and Business Innovation” and has published papers in prestigious journals, including the “Journal of Contemporary Asia,” “Asian Journal of Technology,” and “Korean Journal of Management.” Her experience spans from 2007 to 2023, during which she worked at leading institutions such as the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI)(2007-2013), the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI)(2014-2016), and the KAIST Office of Planning and Budget(2018-2023), spearheading projects such as “Analysis of Constraints on University Lab Startups and Exploration of Success Stories (2023).” Her main research interests focus on the deep tech startup ecosystem, future industries, and governance in the public and private sectors. Her ultimate goal is to explore how technology can transform human life.
