Daesik Lee Ph.D.

Senior Research Fellow, Global Governance

Dr. Daesik Lee is an expert on the CIS region and world system theory. He is currently researching global governance to overcome US-China conflict and unsustainability at the Taejae Future Consensus Institute.

 

He has served as a senior researcher at Samsung Economic Research Institute, an expert member of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation and an adjunct professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, a director of the Korean Society of Urban Design, a director of the Korean Society of Russian Literature, and president of Eurasia 21, an incorporated association.

 

Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Russian literature from Seoul National University. He is the author of several articles, including ‘The Evolution of American Hegemony and the Ukraine War’, ‘The Correlation between European Energy Security and the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict’, and ‘The Duality of US Economic Sanctions: Reviving Investment in Russia’. As well as numerous books including ‘Zoom in Russia 1, 2’, ‘Korea’s Choice’, ‘Virtualtopia’, ‘The Cloud Nation is Coming’ and ‘Aesthetics of the Continent, Poetics of Paradox’.
