Research Fellow, Future Industry & Competitiveness

Julia Yoon is a research fellow at the Taejae Future Consensus Institute, focusing on the future industry and national competitiveness sector. With a master’s degree in political science & international relations from Korea University, her thesis explored the domestic implementation of the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPs), laying the groundwork for her career at the intersection of policy, finance, and international political economy. Julia’s work primarily focuses on Southeast Asian regional integration and industrial digital transformation, contributing to a deeper understanding of these critical areas. Her notable research includes “Political Foundation of Foreign Aid Policy: Determinants of Individual Preference on Foreign Aid in South Korea” published in The Korean Journal of Area Studies, “Public Opinion on Inequality in Korean Society” co-authored for Maeil Business Newspaper Publishing, and “Humanomics,” a collaborative effort published by Seoul Selection.
