[48th Monthly Board Meeting] The future of agriculture (SeungKyu Min, Chaired Professor at Hankyong National University)

The Future Consensus Institute (Yeosijae) held its 48th monthly board meeting on the morning of 23rd.

During the meeting, SeungKyu Min, a chaired professor at Hankyong University, gave a lecture on 'The Future of Agriculture'.

Professor Min stated that, “the problem at hand with our agriculture is not smallholding, but rather, the fact that we are unable to provide solutions,” and stressed that, “boundaries between industries are blurring in the Big Blur era; we need to take bold actions in our agriculture industry to follow suit.” He highlighted various examples, including the successful plant-based meat producer ‘Beyond Meat’, and his own experience of leading the team ‘DigiLog’ through the ‘Autonomous Greenhouses International Challenge’ held in the Netherlands, to propose a way forward for the industry.
